Discovery 2 2002 Sat Nav

Hi to everyone.

I have recently purchased a late 2002 Discovery with fitted Sat Nav which I belive is a Becker unit, however the Sat Nav disc which was supplied is I think for another system. The disc is original Land Rover with part no.T1000-4918 if anyone can confirm this is the correct disc or supply me with a copy of the proper disc I would be very grateful, dont want to pay a fortune for a new disc from L/R if the unit is shot. when I insert the disc it says checking disc, then displays CD-Rom but nothing else happens. i have the message gps ok, and 2 other lines below which makes me think the unit is working, but that the disc is for another system.

I think there were 2 types of sat nav fitted to discoverys, 1 was a colour screen fitted above the screen and one was part of the sereo in the dash. I am shure someone will correct me if i am wrong.
My sat nav in my 2003 is in the dash and it does say on the disc that it is for a Becker system. The part number is T1000-5187.
Where are you located?

I am in Mansfield, the system is integrated in the radio and is not colour, pretty sure it's a becker.

Sounds the same as mine, my sat nav disc came with the car. Just looked at it and the disc has a diffrent part number but it has replacement disc service department stamped on it, so i presume this is why the number is diffrent.

I was wondering if you could do me a copy of your disc,prepared to pay for postage etc, I see that discs are available on Ebay etc but dont want to pay too much in case sat nav is not working.
