Hehm that's interesting. Been looking at my sills with a view to replacing them with rocksliders ... but hadn't thought that the plastic trims might be causing problems anyway, thanks.

:)

get rid of the mud catchers that LR put on to make us buy new cars:D

and when you rebuild your sills fir some rocksliders like me - well I would but at the mo they're holding part of me garage up and theres other jobs....excuses,excuses:)

As someone who has a roof spoiler, I can attest that they do absolutely nothing. Mine does not keep water from dripping into the rear when opening the door, if anything it's worse. It does not keep the rear window any cleaner, in fact it is a total waste of time. However, I can assure you that branches etc do not get caught in it and, at least down here in the far south west it is a very rare accessory and to my mind it looks OK too.:eek:

Pulled the one off the farm truck so going to get it resprayed and stuck on my new baby.

It helps keep the water away from the top of the rear door seal which tends to leak. When door is open it wont do jack.

As for branches they tend to be cut back on the main roads and motorway so will be fine for mine! I would be more worried of messing up the sign writing than pulling off the spoiler hence me keeping away from the bushy tracks.
