discovery 1 pick up insurance

Hi guys can anyone advise me on insurance for a disco pick up .I have changed the original rear body with a 3 door version cut down to make a pick up bed it's by no means finished yet but when do a quote on line they seem to put insurance up just for having spaces let alone 4" lift kit 2" body lift whinech bumper with bull bars winch snorkel and light bar De cat pipe even slightly larger tyres only 85s .....oh a I have an old dr 30 which is invalid as from Sept may I add after a loooonnng time banned I did learn my lesson

Oh and the other thing is it is now a 2 seater not 7 . If i insured it for work purposes would these extras matter as they will aid my work ........All advise welcome and if anyone could recommend an insurance company to try I'm all ears

Usual insurers will cover it as a modified vehicle

Hi any ideas if it could go on classic insurance

I heard classic insurance was cheaper I'm also looking into the work insurance route too

Try Footman James and insure as a modified classic.
