HI all,
After some advice please. The previous owner of my Disco has blocked off the Heater and removed the pipework. I need to replace the bottom radiator hose but am unsure as to blocking off the pipe that leads to where the heater pipe on top of the head should be.

Any advice please ?
Thanks

Do you know why they looped the heater hoses?

My guess is that the heater matrix started to leak and they didn't want the hassle of pulling the dash out to fix the heater.

Can you test the heater matrix without connecting it to the engine? As in, connect two pipes and pressurise it with a bicycle pump to about 25lb to see if it holds water.

Thanks for the reply, I am sure it was because it was leaking and the Heater is not really needed here in South Africa. The pipe that comes off the bottom hose has been blocked not far up from the "t" on the hose. There are no other pipes at all and the pipes that go through the firewall have been cut off. I need some advice on how to block the new pipe effectively if that makes sense ?
