I have a leak on my Discovery 1 front Sunroof. I know this is a common issue and usually happens in the corners by the drain but mine is leaking from the middle in the hole circled in the picture.

Has anyone else has this issue before?
Not sure if it's still related to the drain pipes but I'm going to check for any blocks either side

Yes it appears to be a common issue, going by the number of threads, i’m sure u know that water will travel to its lowest level, it seem you have an iffy seal either at the glass of the frame to body seal replace repair those and u will be dry.
I understand that the foof bars mounts can also leak at their fixings. :(

Thanks Discool. I will check these in the morning

What ever u have to do it’s not a big task to remove the complete sunroof to renew the seal that’s underneath it, weather permitting, or you could paste a thin bed of black sealer around the edge. As for the glass seal it may just require reseating but then may require replacing.

I mentioned the roof bars, but thinking about it any water would drip onto the head liner and run across the top to the edge of the liner, so that’s not your issue at the moment :)

Lucky at the moment I don't have my headliner in. Doesn't look like water is leaking anywhere else though. It's only when I get in the car and drive away that it starts to leak. Well it's happened twice after very heavy rain. Other than that there are no issues
