Got to replace a couple of brake pipes on my Discovery 1 300tdi (ABS), as all the tools in my tool chest in my garage got stolen a few years ago, including a lot of parts, I've been trying to tot up buying a brake pipe kit or brake pipe, fittings, flare tool etc to make my own.

The only D1 300tdi with ABS kit I can find states for LHD (not sure what difference would be between LHD and RHD), but cheaper in terms of replacing my brake pipe kit. Does anyone know whether the fittings are metric or imperial?

One of the front to rear pipes has split (went mid jorney and made for an interesting rest of the journey on just the front brakes), but I'm figuring if one pipe has gone, chances are, others may not be too far behind.

Metric is the answer if theres two marks across the flat of of each union :)
I'd expect that the pipe layout for LHD would be just a mirror image of the RHD but u need a kit for a RHD vehicle with pipe work running down the near side of the chassis from the modulator.

I expect u have seen this... it copied from the workshop manual it for LHD as the servo/ master is on the left, but it appears the modulator is on the left what ever vehicle. So keeps it simple.
