Hi everyone I am new to this. And wanted to give it a go and see if you guys can help me. I got a 1998 discovery 1 300tdi 5dr and I want to widen my rear arches to accept 34" tyres. I've mastered the fronts but not sure how to overcome the rear doors being part of the arch and modifying them. Can anyone help me cheers

Bend the door skin back from the door frame and where you chop it back be sure to allow for a new lip and then wallop the door skin back round for the factory finish, or if you like it ghetto then just cut it all back with the grinder, get some 1mmally sheet an bend it round the curve and be sure to have it 25mm either side of the edges and then beat it round and pop rivet the shéét out of it :)

thanks very much. Like I said im not used to the forum thing yet just everyone recommends it so thought I'd give it a go. As for power tools I'm very capable

Forum is worth it's weight in gold for the knowledge and information here.

Just do a cursory search of the forum when you want to know something that is for a vehicle that is over 3 years old as there really isn't much left to know on anything older than 10yrs.
