Discovery 1 300Tdi Dash Upgrade?

Hi -
I'm the very proud owner of a '98 Disco 1 in fantastic condition in and out, and have been for 6 months or so. However, as in my old Defender 90, the dash is fantastically useless.
- I upgraded my Defender to the Td5 gauges fairly easily, and was wondering if anyone knows or has upgraded the Disco 1 gauges (which I believe to be electronic anyway) to the Disco 2 gauges (i.e. speedo, tacho, fuel, temp, etc).

Any hints would be great. Cheers!

What's wrong with D1 gauges?

It's just a cosmetic thing to be honest! - I'm not a fan of the front lit dials is all.
Just wondering if it's a possibility, not having researched it at all.

If your motor is in that good a condition, I'd keep it stock as it'll be an appreciating collectable before long.

If you're not happy with the lighting in the guages, take em apart and retro fit some snazzy leds... I got some left over from my christmas tree if you like?!
