Used to do rally recovery and when bored find a few challenges to do. The looks I got off people when my 90 special turned up with hidden rear winches dragging myself & others around.
Make sure you get a fit winch bitch who you trust to connect you to a tree that's not rotten;)
Don't worry I got my own back when I started racing & turn the intercom off. :)

Keep building & updating us. Looking good

Been busy last week! Iv decided to fit some arches to the front of the truck to stop the engine getting to plastered off road, also gives me that little bit more storage room haha one thing tray backs lack!!!! Only needs a lick of paint to finish the job off

I will move the air filter to the top of the cab at some point but for now it's tucked under the hood.

Also fitted the spare wheel carrier to the back of the cage and have to say with the extra weight makes all the difference on the road.! Rides a lot smoother

It'll ride better still when you bolt a 9000lb winch on that rear cross member ;)

Really came together fast that didn't it, nice when you've got a decent workshop to play in

Not that my opinion count for anything but that's some fine engineering and a great series of pics etc, don't know why it's taken me this long to find it but following with great interest

Plan is to add a few more tubes onto the back aswell! All well and good chopping a truck but you don't realise how much difference it makes taking the weight of the rear end haha

Have you thought about relocating your batteries to the back to cut the nose weight? That's on my list with the new electrical system. The 069 batteries (I have 2 of these) weigh 36 kilo's! The monster 624se batteries are 27 kilo's each

Just an idea.

Like the inner wings. Some where to put the cups of tea while fixing the engine ;)
Here is a thought. Fuel tank & batteries? Make sure all is bolted down well.
Harness mounts?
Get a gel battery this can live in the cab no chance of spillage.
Your work is good keep building :)
