Hi, Can anyone tell me if a transfer box from a manual engine will fit on to a auto they are both discovery 1992 models.

No they do not.
I thought so too until put right by the guy at Automatic Conversions in Luton.
I was converting my '92 Defender to Auto Box and thought I needed to alter the T/Box ratios. Auto Conversion guy (the younger of the brothers - sorry, can't remember his name) put me right.
Early Range Rovers have different T/Box ratios for 3 speed autos, but everything else is the same.
