Disco to defender r380

Has any one converted a disco box to a defender box using the adapters from Ashcroft transitions? Is it just a case of change the selector and that's it done? Cheers in advance.
 
Im really interested in finding out how to do this, as I wouldnt mind swapping my 200tdi to a 300tdi in the future and def boxes are around 4-500 on flabby
