Disco thefts in Worcestershire/Warwickshire

Just thought I'd inform people in the Evesham/Stratford/Cotswolds area that there have been a lot of Disco's targetted recently. Two were stolen in the next village to me last week, one in my village friday night and they had a crack at another just around the corner the same night.

It's got to the point now that a police car was actually parked on the road out of my village last week, and was straight on me when he saw me at just gone 1am. Nice to see our tax dollars being put to good use :) .

I'm seriously seriously worried about mine now, with all the kit on it.
So I've massively increased my security and have two cars blocking it in now.

Just thought I'd let everyone know, so people can take the appropriate precautions.

i live in derbyshire and have heard of 2 disco's getting stolen recently(from derbyshire),maybe the thieves are running out of defenders to steal so are starting with the disco's,afterall a lot of parts are interchangable with defenders
 
@Mike, one was a TD5. As far as I know, the rest were all 1s.

@Mart. The policeman I spoke to said most of them are sent abroad in a bajillion pieces, some are used for pulling cashpoints out of walls etc. I think my last one went to Poland. I have a good idea what happened to it...

yeh i had a defender pinched at the begining of this year,the police told me they were going abroad as parts,sickening after all the hours & money id spent on it doing it up
 
My Disco 300TDI was pilfered in may. They broke into the ex's car, stole house keys and broke in to the house to take my keys. Don't even get me started.

I REALLY don't want my Commercial nicked, I've put far too much time and money into this one, not to mention blood and sweat. I'd be absolutely gutted if this one went

i strongly recomend the thatchem disklok,everyones useing them round my end and the landys with them on dont seem to get bothered

I'm just the other side of Bredon Hill form Evesham... and last Thursday the sly bastards had a go at our neighbours Suzuki Jeep (sad but true)... they cut off the catalytic converter with bolt cutters:eek:... was parked on the road outside his house...

Aparantly there is a gang up to this in the area targetting 4x4's and vans 'cos they're easy to get under!

I know all about the cat thing, I work for Leamoco so we get to hear all about that! There's a LOT of it going on around here at the minute!

i know of a lot of nissan micras going missing for the cats as theyre worth £150 scrap value
the lads that stole this particular one near my house took the car off someones drive and on the way out of the estate decided to reverse at warp speed into a police patrol car to disable it so they can make a clean getaway

it seems theyll stop at nothing and nothing is safe :mad::mad::mad::mad:
