Hi, I'm new here and would so advice. I'm living in Aberdeenshire, although I am a Geordie! We will be going back down to Tyneside to buy or newer car, as not only is there better choice, but also much lower prices.
We currently have a 'R' Reg 300Tdi Disco, and are looking at getting something newer in the near future. We love our Disco other than one thing. It's a 'Rust Bucket', especially over the wheel arches. Our daughter bought a 'P' Reg just after we got ours and I have got to admit, hers is the same. We have looked at loads of other 4 wheel drives within our price range, and keep coming back to a new Disco, probably on a 53/04 plate. So, my question is, are these just as prone to rust at the 300Tdi, or have they been improved in some way. My hubby would love a much newer one or a Range Rover, but we just won't have that sort of cash. We will be after the 7 seat version, and it is going to have to last us until we can afford another one.
All help gratefully received
