ime getting a steering vibration at 50 ish mph on my disco 2, changed front prop, which made it slightly better, any one out there with similar experience?

Can you drive past the vibration? Could it not just be wheel balance? Worth also checking that your wheel nuts are torqued properly, alloy nuts can loosen suprisingly easily.

Also panhard rod bushes, wheel bearings, swivel hubs or possibly even the steering damper.

wheels balanced yep been done, yes i can drive through it,usualy starts when driving up hill if i hold it at about 50 mph, its not bad but v annoying.

If it's there when turning then start to look at bearings etc, if it's worse when driving in a straight line, look at panhard rod bushes. common fault!

Tightened steering box so far panhard rod bushes are ok,lessening the steering box play has made a big difference
