I know it's winter and all that but trying to find the "right" price for a Td5 or TDI is like a lucky dip. Some private listings are making some dealers look cheap! Prices seem to vary from £2200 to £4000 for similar spec'd vehicles. Maybe I'll wait until Spring when the winter fever has died down.

You can pick up a decent 300 for £4-500 in May/June. I bought mine in November for £1650 but the TD5s range from £200-4000 depending on body/chassis and mileage etc.

If you look hard enough you can find a decent TD5 for about £1800.

Certainly are a few optimists out there, especially on ebay, non-franchised dealer classified ads are a joke.

You should get a tidy TD5 with service history for around the 3k mark, if it's been off road walk away

you have to see the vehicle and work out what it like and then what it's worth to you! cos you can soon spend a few quid after, some more than others! lottery comes to mind!
2nd hand cars! like a women, until you live with em you don't know what they are like!:bolt:

A decent one? I doubt it, minimum £2500 and even then it may only just be decent!
