Disco nightmare

Hi guys

After years of convincing myself I have finally bought myself a disco.
Used it for the first time at night tonight and the main beam doesn't work.
Side lights and dipped lights work until you pull the switch for main beam. Once pulled all lights go out until you put main beam off.
The blue light comes on, on the dash.

Does anyone have any idea?

Funny you should say that, mine done the same the other day a few times?? I flicked the switch a few times and hasn't Done it since? Can you flash the high beam?.with low beam on?

I have tried flicking the switch a few times but keep getting the same results.

But can you flash the high beam?

High beam stays off

Sounds like the stalk is knackered on the column

ebay 10-25 quid, are you getting a positive loud click?

Might be stating the obvious but are the bulbs ok?

But would this not prevent the warning light coming on as well?

I have an update.
The high beam started working tonight but after they started to work the indicators started to play up and only sometimes work (yes I know they go on and off then on the off).
This to me suggests the indicator stalk?
Anyone agree

+1 on that. Easy and cheap job.
