disco is dead

I have a 99 disco that all of a sudden started sputtering. I replaced spark plugs fuel filter and fuel pump and it won't start. help

uke: if it has a distributor cap the engine was also used in a rover 820 and the resistive rotor arms burn out.

Did it stop and refuse to start next time or cut out?

So had it lost fuel and spark at the same time then?
