disco fuel pump burnt out?

hiya first of all happy new year.now my problem- i own a 1998 disco 3.9 v8,yesterday ran out of petrol but flicked over to lpg ok and filled up with petrol on the way home whilst still running on lpg,this morning car started and died almost straight away,i,ve cracked open the fuel feed pipe by the fuel rail and theres nothing coming out, have i killed the fuel pump?

sounds like it , I always keep at least a 1/4 tank in mine(v8 on lpg) as the fuel pump is always running.
from the service history on mine I saw the prev owner had to replace the fuel pump

just been out,freezing my t*ts off. when ignition key is turned the fuel pump relay clicks once,does this mean its working ok also i have the pump cover off and theres no vibration felt,how the fook do you undo those rusty union nuts to take pump out?anyone got a spare pump close to sunny birmingham they dont need.
