disco dash in a defender

hi all just wondered if a discovery dash board will fit in a defender 110 i have just bought a discovery 7 seat model from e-bay i think i might have paid to much for it (£3.20) so i am trying to find some use for it ie use some of the trim parts on my 110 van i am going to try the rear seats the front seats and the dash so i was just wondering if anybody else had tried thanks for your time

with a big sharp knife and a hacksaw you can make i fit. you will possibly need to recalibrate the speedo and i would buy a load of handy angle to make mounting brackets. i wish you good luck with this project, but bear in mind it may well look an absolute bollocks when you have finished. not being insultive, just stating a fact, i once had an idea of fitting a td5 rear bumper to my disco and now it lies behind the shed as it looked crap when fitted

cheer bud i think it would look crap too but she who holds all the money hates the standered dash and i cant find any custom dash'es out the ie chequer plate or even wood or plactic cheers anyway
