Disco 4 sat nav

Hi. I’ve purchased a landmark 2016. Do I have to take to the dealership to update the sat nav? Or can a.n.other carry out this update with the correct tools? this has probably been asked before on here, I did search but couldn’t find anything. I apologise if I offend the forum chiefs

There is one available for download ( +£££ ) from LR. I haven't tried it but I understand it is USB.

I love it how they make things easy, be cheaper to buy a Tom Tom every few years

Or much much cheaper to get the tomtom app on your phone with free updates for life!
Plus once you have bought the app you can load it onto as many devices as you want, ie every phone in the house, was 50 quid when I bought it a few years ago.

Only thing to watch is before you do any sort of trip check the app is up to date.
