disco 300tdi rear bumper removal

hi to all,
im new here,i need a bit of help i need to remove my rear bumper completely,i cant find where it actually fastens,also are the bolts likely to snap.can anyone please help me.

Bolted to chassis, and the bolt's can be a tw@t to remove if corroded, easier if back end of Disco is raised up on axle stand's. Don't forget to disconnect the bumper light's... As with all nut's/bolt's it's hard to say if they'll break or not, personally I'd have some spare's ready ... just in case...

The easiest way to get the rear bumper off is to remove the bumper mounted lights first. In each bumper opening you will find 19mm bolt heads facing sideways. Undo these bolts to remove the bumper. These bolts are usually in good condition and not corroded like the ones underneath and therefore come out easily.
Doing it this way has the advantage you will not have to reset the bumper in position when you come to refit.
While the bumper is off it's much easier to replace the corroded bolts underneath while you're at it if you wish..
