Hi, was at a p&p site last weekend heater was working in the morning on the way there but stopped working at some point during the day, did the usual throughout the day plenty of water and mud. If anyone could point me in the right direction to fix it would be most appreciated. A friend has mentioned a relay for the heater but cant find anything online.

Have you checked the heater pipes that run into the matrix to see if they are hot?
Have you downloaded the rave workshop manual?
Checked the fuse?

Cheers
Ive just got it back from the garage after i snapped rear drivers halfshaft and remodelling the front passenger side bumper headlight and indicator:cool:
Not had a chance to look at it yet will check fuses in a sec:(

The usual culprit is the main blower relay. it is in a rubber sheath screwed to the side of the blower housing. get in the passenger footwell and look up under the dash, pretty much in the middle. The relay has white/red white/black, blue/red and brown wires going to it.
Try tapping it to begin with. If that doesn't work, pull the connector off and use a paperclip to bridge the two big connectors. if that brings the fan on then you've found your problem. If it doesn't then it's time to get the multimeter out.

Checked the fuse, it was fine put it back in and it worked again for all of 30 seconds then stopped , tried to look in passenger footwell but couldnt see much at all has im guessing original trim under footwell with a circular hole cut into it ,id got really cold by then so gave up and went in to warm back up . Will give it another crack next weekend.

Lol yh, the nuts on the wheel spacer came undone and the wheel went off up the road without me , 5 years they been on there with no issues always checked whenever the wheels were off ,gave up on the way home.
