Disco 300TDI ES how much is it worth?

Hey guys I have a 300tdi ES auto and I want a est price that I could sell it at as I don't have the cash to get it passed its MOT this November, that I know of its faults are.....

Outer and Inner Sill needs welding
A and b post welding
Inner sill brackets need attention

ABS fault 4-12 is disabled because of this

Vacuum pump leak
Needs handbrake shoes

OS front king pin needs adjusting or replacing as there is movement and that's from the swivel housing as oneshot grease costs a lot to replace!!!

Engine oil leaking from sump?
Either transfer or gear box leak cant see where its coming from

Windscreen has a crack aswell

Don't want to upset you, but I think the answer is probably likely to be "buttons".
The breakers seem to have moved over to D2's now.
Got to be worth £400 to someone that shreds them, though?

Might be worth putting an ad up in the classified section.

Unfortunately, D1's are at that age where the majority of what's out there is junk. Quite a lot more need to be scrapped before values bottom out and start coming up!

Thanks for the reply ill try the bay then might have someone after a few bits of a D1

Roughly a complete Discovery is worth abut £180ish in scrap, so if you get £200+ then you can't go wrong. It's a shame as it's a lot of car but it's only really worth anything if there is an MOT with it, and even more if it's a full MOT.

If you want it gone, sell the engine on it's own for about £200-£300 (it will sell for that easily) and scrap the rest, you will get about £130ish for what's left I would imagine. But people are always willing to buy an engine for a conversion on an old Series or an early Defender.
