I know there are many posts relating to this subject and Ive read loads
Most blame the water on the sunroof drains so I thinking mine was the same I dried out the footwell and taped up the sunroof until at such times I can do the repair. I also replaced all clips on the A pillar and applied silicon checked AC drain and scuttle panel. No sign of damp in headlining
Now after more rain the passenger footwell is full of water. Now what.

Sorry I should have introduced myself I'm Len and own a Disco 3 and Disco 300tdi which Ive had for 20 years. Not sure the 3 will last that long

Check the water is not coming in via the pollen filter.
Drop glove box down, use fingers to pop the catches and lower the glovebox some more, this then releases it and you can see the pollen filter housing, remove cover and check for water.
There is a diy mod ot make cover to stop water dripping into the air intake which then gets into car.

Cant be many 300 owners that have owned the same one for 20 years?

Door card been off recently?
Just thinking maybe a water seal/plastic sheet has been disturbed behind the card.

Iirc clips on A pillar, some are blanked off with tape, ie not all the holes are used?

Lynall Ive checked the A pillar and put new clips in with a touch of silicon. I like the idea of the door which I have thought maybe the prob but your the first one to back me up and Ive been on a few Landy sites. I'll checkout out thanks

Tbh I have had my d3 doors apart before but cannot remember whats in there!
I take doors apart all the time at work, but thats on trucks so if a bit of water gets in no one really gives a toss!
Are the door drain holes clear?
Mirrors secure?

i kin hate water leaks, every land rover I have ever owned has leaked water in at some point, worst one was a 300 which in the end turned out to be where the main loom entered the cabin via a large grommet on the passenger side, it took me weeks to suss that one out.
