Hi
I have a LHD LR3 HSE (Disco 3) V8 Petrol imported after a 3 year tour in America. Fantastic vehicle but recently had a Prinz LPG system fitted. Ran great (approx 700 miles) until I returned from a one week overseas trip and found the car would turn over but not fire. AA recovered it to Guy Salmon Portsmouth. It showed a brake pad warning display when I put the key in the ignition for start up. Land Rover completed a service, including a brake pad change. They appeared to have started the vehicle without problem. A week later, the same thing happened just after I had filled the gas tank. The brake pad warning light came on, it would turn over but not fire. I called Steve at Hampshire Auto Fuels, the reputable and registered fitter who installed the system, and he disconnected the LPG system completely. He found a camshaft actuactor failure indicated on a small hand held computer. It still would not start although it would turn over.
Has anyone else experinced like problems? Any thoughts gratefully received.
