Buy it, Dinitrol it to death and enjoy it for as long as they keep petrol at the pumps.

Got a link to the advert please?

So what want to know other the thoughts ? My TVR had a modified LR V8 engine but manual, then came my RR 3.5 and was an auto, and my disco has V8 and is auto, there no great issues with any of them other than the RR required a new cam at 110k miles replaced by a main dealer @ £1000.

cheers mate, thats a tick in the yes colum:)
Being early version of the Disco V8 I’ve found my disco is easy to maintain, I don’t see that a D2 V8 will be any different, plugs, leads, fluids and filters, but then of course there’s the other issues that D2s suffer from, whatever the engine, issues which the older D1 doesn’t have, as u may know as a D2 owner already.

Hoover out the rear end of the chassis legs then observe what come out, and then of course put a picture up

@tbviking ... definitely get your Disco corrosion treated when you get it.
My Disco 2 I brought over to the U.K. last July was rust free from having it stateside in California and Georgia. A year later, the whole underside looks like sh*te from corrosion. My steel bumpers, side rock sliders and rear ladder will have to be removed, corrosion treated and repainted. Ugh....
