Oh joy,
some little Scroat (Am I allowed to say that on here) has tried to nick my diesel. Now the fuel filler flap does just that - FLAPS - the button that pops out of the body work behind the filler flap is no longer present. just a small hole. Are these difficult to replace? The good old Haines Manual does cover this in any section.
As if my day couldn't get any better....................
Thanks

just remove the interior side panel, you will see the actuating mechanism there, have a look,it just might want putting back in place, has the plastic clip been broken off the fuel filler flap?.

Hi gems dad. YUP, the actuating rod was hanging down inside the skin.
I checked to see if it would just go back in but even with the release button pressed it was still 4-5mm protruding. can't have done it by itself......
Little Cnuts-------
