Disco 2 Roto Filter

Hi
I have changed the roto filter in my Disco td5, but you can hear it spinning when I switch off, as it slows down to a stop..is this normal ??

yes I've heard it is normal, although mine is quite.

Yes it is normal to hear the rotor filter spinning down after switch off.

Yes, but it shouldn't be loud. Its some time since I drove a Td5, but it was more a case of feeling a vibration, especially if you rested your hand on the gear leaver, than hearing it

I'll try that next time I drive her but I've never really noticed a vibration myself.:scratching_chin:

The filter can be heard running down more when it is fresh than later in its life. I have not felt vibration in the 275K/kms mine has done.
