Hi,
I'm new to the group & I hope someone can help me out here.
I have just ordered a new set of arches all round for my 2003 TD5 as the ones on it at present are starting to fade & pit, can anyone tell me what is required to remove the old & fit the new, what fixings i need/can re-use, any websites or links to photo's of how to fit etc?

I am technical & mechanically able, just want to make sure when they turn up on Friday I have all I need to do the job.

Thanks for reading & taking the time to help me.

Got to do the same on ours soon, they have degraded quite badly in places.

I think you'll find that they are held on with adhesive, like the rubbing strips down the side (if you have got them)

Fitting instructions show a hot-air gun as the only tool required. You will also need some solvent to clean off any wax on the paintwork before applying the trims.

The Rave CD has the instructions in the Accessory Fitting Instructions section.

Land Rover workshop manual.

You can buy it (not listed as the Rave CD on ebay for obvious reasons) or download from the Green Oval website.

Note that the downloads are in ISO CD Image format and will need writing to a CD with nero or whatever. You can also install if the ISO Image is decoded to a folder.

The manual includes the users handbook and a lot of other useful stuff. It comes with Adobe Acrobat V4 which you have to use, it won't run with later versions, but V4 is OK.
