Hi folks can anyone point me in the direction of what this problem might be.

Got a project 2000 disco 2 td5 auto.

Sent of ecu, bcu and key fobs to callrova as bcu had water damage got it back everything working again except key fobs wont lock or unlock doors they said they were programmed and working fine at callrova before sending them back ive changed the receiver in the roof still not working.

The central locking button in the car locks and unlocks the doors. Checked fuses anything else i can try?

There are 2 connectors under steering wheel that are not connected to anything and cant see where they should connect to they were like that when i bought the car.

You need a nanocom or similar to run a RF test and double check the fob's programming... ask those who said that the fobs are working how did they check that with the BCU on he bench

It is possibble but it involves a very complex bench which has all the connections as to emulate the vehicle so for the fobs to be checked on the bench the BCU must be connected to a RF receiver and to something which can actually check the output for the central locking, it's not enough to watch the live data to confirm 100% that the fobs would work on the vehicle too. It's quite complicated that's why i asked

This is what I thought, and so it would seem that it might actually be easier if the car is on site as it were where the guys are replacing it.
It is beginning to look as if I might be 5% of the way towards understanding a bit about the elextronix on this car! Thanks to peeps like yourself!:):):):)
