Hi all, this is my first post! I've got a 02 disco TD5 and having problems with heated windscreen. Drivers side never has worked but passenger side is perfect. Just had a new screen fitted due to crack and it's still the same, no heat drivers side. I've checked fuses and wiring and have power up to the screen and seems a decent earth. It's too much of a coincidence to be a faulty screen. Any help please

Have you checked both plugs for power ?

This frustrating problem is not confined to Disco's. Our (non LR) daily driver has exactly the same fault & again the glass has been replaced. The local (respected) garage has carried out all the checks & is baffled, so it's back to covering the 'screen at night! I can only wish you luck.

Take it back to the company who fitted the windscreen and tell them it is faulty and was working before... they'll fix it for you

And if they do a continuity check on the screen's elements & find no fault?

Have you done this yet?. There are plugs at the bottom of both A pillars, one each side
