:(Hi all, anyone know the best place to get replacement ARB bushes from?
I've found some on fleabay but dont know what the quality will be like and my local dealer is wanting STUPID money for a new pair.

Any Ideas Guys?

Cheers

Dave

Be careful with bushes. They can mess up the suspension feel.

I've used polybush a few times with mixed results. SuperPro may be a better option. How much are the dealers quoting?

which bushes? if its the bar to chassis ones and you dont have ace polybushes will give you slightly better cornering without making the ride harsh.

Personally its the only place I would use polybushes

Ok well I just changed mine and as I have ace I just fitted the rubber ones, got them from Paddocks so I guess they are not genuine but they seemed good quality and were cheap as chips

Just ordered a pair of bushes from my local land rover independant specialist..£1.35 plus vat each lol......Cheap as chips.....

UPDATE--------

Picked up the ARB bushes this morning and have gone to fit them....Blooming typical, wrong ones. Have been given non ACE bushes instead of WITH ACE bushes which i asked for...AH WELL....gotta put up with the knocking til saturday. SH*T HAPPENS I SUPPOSE

Picked up New ARB bushes this morning.....Vehicle fitted with ACE has same front ARB bushes as the rears,Large diameter ARB. They were fitted within 30 mins of getting home.KNOCK now GONE and steering more precise.

Was the knock knock just as you wobbled the steering from left to right past centre, i have a knock that does this and assumed it was ARB bushes but not changed them yet

The knock i had was when you turned the steering to either left or right and then slowly straightened up the wheels. Its easy to tell if they are gone. Lie underneath the front of your Disco. Where the ARB is attached to the front chassis crossmember, grab a hold of the roll bar just outside of the bush mounting.Try and pull/push the ARB, and try and slide from side to side. If you have any movement, the bushes are worn.

Hope this helps
