Disco 2 - Disco 1

Would anyone be able to tell me.....

What will fit onto a Disco 1 from a Disco 2 without much hassle from the following.... (small list to start...)

1.Front bumper

2.Rear Bumper

3.Plastic wheel arches

And how easy is it to wire up 200 rear lights to a 300tdi? Mine don't have indicators on the upper level lights so was debating on whether to change them or not...?

Nothing from a Disco 2 (from 1999 up) will fit from the parts listed.

Changing the rear lights isn`t a problem but I think that isn`t road legal.

I was think early Disco 2...

Indicators - I was thinking wiring up so that bumper and upper lights all worked at the same time, some have it but mine doesn't...

you mean disco 200 and 300?
not one and two?

no worries

as for rear lights in both they are the same but... there a few combinations i wouldnt mess around with them

between the 200 and 300 you can change loads, they are basically the same, just different engine, dash, headlights and rear lights...

the change on the rear lights is possible to do, takes a bit of time and patience, but its doable..

I was right all along. I have a 300TDi and want bits off a later model, say TD5? Only want my inicators to be like a 200

are you sure, you look like a 200tdi to me, with 300tdi parts. Post a few photos all round (including interior) and I'll confirm for you

Nope that's a 300tdi I've got a 200tdi thats had 300 tdi lights, wheel arches and body mouldings fitted.

Definately 300TDi...

If you have a TDi 300 and want indicators in the rear pillars it is easy peasy, you just buy some new rear light clusters AMR 5151 & 52 from memory - just plug them in and away you go, no mods required.

Wicked!! Thanks for that : )

You may find you will need to do some wiring as well to fit your new lights cos some
of the 300tdi do not have all the wires in the plug on the back of the old lights
hope this makes sense.

Thats what I wondered, as I have spare wires but no orange part on my lights, yet some others I have seen have them.
