Hi,

Have searched but no luck, removed EGR valve and blanked off blue pipe at the small vacuum valve next to the servo, now after a few days the vacuum valve is buzzing when you rev the engine and release the throttle ? Any ideas ?

Thanks

which vacuum valve next to the servo? do you mean the EGR solenoid modulator valve?...if yes unplug it's electric connector, insulate it well against earth and get rid of it completely

Hi sierrafery,

Yes I think so, the blue pipe went to it from the egr valve,

There are a couple of other pipes on it and a small plug on the bottom.

All threads I've read have only said to block pipe off ?

Thanks

it's good to at least unplug the connector but the whole thing is useless now as you've bypassed the EGR, that solenoid is on the same circuit/fuse with the MAF and wastegate modulator and puts unnecesary load on it

Hi,

I see, so more load is making it buzz. Ok will disconnect plug, you say insulate it against earth, do you mean unplug and give it a earth or just insulate against water ingress ??

Thanks

unplug it and insulate as no pin to touch earth cos it will blow fuse F2 which feeds the MAF and wastegate modulator too...what i said it was that this useless from now buzzing solenoid is putting additional and unnecessary load on that circuit if you see what i mean
