Hey, ive recently fitted my ome 40mm lift on my disco 2 and its great. Im going to buy 265 75 16 stts. Ive heard you need to cut the plastic front bumper. Has anyone got any pics of anyone who has done it so i know where to cut and what it looks like. Thanks, rob

I've got 265/75/16 STT's on a standard height facelift D2 and they fit fine. Don't even rub on articulation. Many people will tell you they won't fit... Probably people that have never actually tried it.

Hi mate I've got 265/75/16 ins special tracks on my D2 which has a 2" lift and they defiantly rubbed ! i had to cut my bumper was easy though and to be honest i prefer the way it looks now. If you want picture i can take some later in week as at minute its at my mates after snapping front drive shaft yesterday . I think it can depend on the tyre as i was told by a lot of people i could fit this tyre without rubbing. As for where to cut there is a ridge in bumper which pretty much guides you just follow it round.

Bear in mind that Insa's are remould and inherently they will be larger!

These are coppers STT's on my D2....
