I have a disco 2 td5 and the breaks locked up on me on the motorway the other day couldn't get recovered so had a mess and tried to drive a few times what finally go me going was messing with the vacuum lines. Replace the line as it was loose and kept coming off with some silicone vacuums hose when I got home was fine for a day or 2 but now the break pedal seems to travel quiet far but still works however if I pump it with engine running then try to stop the car it does nothing can someone help please thanks in advance

if servo to master cylinder push rod is adjusted too far ,brakes will apply maybe after 10 miles or more or less, letting the vacuum go releases the brakes till youve covered some more miles, it might be now fluid has been cooked
has it had any work done on the brakes recently
