Sorry if this has been asked before (have searched but can't find anything
relevant) I am after some replacement alloys for a D2 and wondered if anyone
knows for definite what fits without modification (other than standard ones
of course).

I have seen some nice 18" rims from a new shape range rover on ebay but the
buyer doesn't know if they will go on or not.

Any help appreciated.

I think they probably will, I think Andy Sargeant had a set of 19inch
rims and tyres for sale. have a look back through the last few days of
posts

P38 (previous shape RR) wheels will fit without modification.

L322 (current shape RR) & Disco 3 wheels will fit, but will need spigot
rings for them to centre properly on the hub as the hub is slightly
larger on the L322 & D3. Not sure, but depending on the alloys in
question you might need new bolts as well. You can pick up the spigot
rings on eBay quite cheaply.

You HAVE to fit corresponding L322 wheel nuts.
Also available on ebay.
£2.50 to £3.00 ish, but multiply by 20 :¬(

hmmm, that's a point. discovered the other day that the recently-bought
trailer axle has M12 wheel nuts which are the same as the ones on the
transit, so I might order 20 of them - the transit nuts are not in the best
condition.
