Any ideas why the air pump for the rear suspension is clicking when the vehicle is parked and off?.

vehicle had a 2inch lift and air suspension deactivated before I bought it. Never noticed this before. Just had a quick look under the air pump cover and it almost has a mechanical clock then clicking noice. Vehicle did a long drive yesterday and been clicking ever since???.

I think you will find the suspension has been left on "air" in the SLABS ECU. Mine had been converted to coils by a previous owner and the air "deactivated" by pulling a fuse in the engine bay fuse box but not in the SLABS ECU:mad::mad:. It would click for a time when parked. The SLABS remains active for 30 to 90 minutes after the engine has been switched off.

You will need to set it to "coils" using a Nanocom (or an equivalent). As soon as I did this the clicking went.

Thanks guys it goes i tomorrow for some work luckily so I will have him sort that out. I think he told me before it’s not worth the drama of removing the system but it would seem wise for me to just remove it right?.
