Looking for advice on my Disco 11. Loosing coolant, now serious, appears to be coming out by the pump, even when not running. Job to see where from even from underneath with a torch. Anyone got any history or experience with TD5's and a problem like this? Could just buy a new pump in the hope that's what it is, but fitting looks hard as it's a pig to get at and while I can lift a spanner I've no experince with TD5's and pumps!
Any advice please as I'm in a fix and need vehicle for work.
Cheers

Not had to get involved in changing a w/pump on the Td5 so can't comment on the diffculty level but I will say this....if you are losng as much water as you say then I would look for another way to get to work until the prob is solved. Worst case scenario will be a wrecked motor and they ain't cheap to replace! Perhaps it's time to invest in a manual?

Thanks for your comments guys, appreciate if I cook the engine I'm into big trouble and will avoid going there.
Lerk you give a link to the Manual, thanks - but have found it and thought I had copied it to a disc. It's a massive file, but can't find my way in to it or to get it to open. have tried an IsoBuster, but still lost and seem to be getting nowhere - are you familiar with the format and any clues??
cheers

Just checked the manual for you and by the looks of it you work from underneath having to remove the turbo and a **** load of other tackle...

God i love my 300!

Thanks Lerk
Happy days! I bet I can get the stuff of but yeah, will I ever get it back and what have I knackered in the doing? Will research, get the job done and perhaps if I post the results with some photos it will help someone in future.
Cheers
