What amp welder are you using
as its my job at work fixing and welding cranes
ive got several arc welders from small inverta up to a old 3 phaze monster that will happly weld 50mm plate all day

a couple of full size 3 phaze migs that weld from 0.5mm to around 35mm ,can also heat and weld , can do ally if i have to but dont like the smell:doh:

fabricating and welding isnt a problem as its my job
its just that ime new to landy's and what can and cant be done ,
so am on a steap learning curve , and cant see the point spending hundreds of pounds on somthing i can make:)
P.S HAVE HAD LOADS OF DECENT ADVICE SINCE JOINING THE SITE :D

If you are good at fabbing i would remove the sills and replace with box will also double as slider you really dont need plans its just a rectangle nothing complicated

cool , thats what i hoped , but thats why ime on a learning curve with disco's , and why i said ime not sure what you can and cant do:)

As you can see, not enough! They've got to be cut off an re-welded with my new Lincoln. Was using a small clarke with bad issues with the contactor and wire feeder.

I so miss having 3 phase. Have a lovely Kempi mig but don't have nothing to plug it into to
