Disco 1 alarm probs

Hi. I have purchased a discovery 96 300tdi for green laning and a general play. I do not have the remote alarm fobs and previous owner had problems with alarm. the imobilizer has been bypassed at some stage and connector pulled out of the back of the alarm. My problem is every time i unlock the car and the interior light goes on the hazard lights flash for 30 secs. It is getting on my nerves now and want to find out if there is a cable that can be disconnected to stop the problem.I removed the fuse but this stops c locking working which i dont want.Idealy i would like the red led on dash to stay flashing aswell so if anyone was thinking of nicking it it still looks like the alarm works. Anyone have any ideas???

well he didnt do a very good job of bypassing the spyder then !! i cant recall hwo to do it now but you need to mess with the relays and wireing in the footwell on passenger side . i done mine a few years back before rotted away
