Hi I have had my first Disco for about 2 years and need to fit new tyers to the front wheels. My offside front wheel had a crack through the alloy and they fitters said they could not fit the tyre as it was unsafe.

Why cant I find Hurricane Alloys 18" to fit a Disco 300 anywhere? I know the wheels have spacers fitted.

Does anyone know of anyone who might have 2 wheels or more in some shed that they might want to part with?

Thanks

Actually,I believe the stud spacings are different for for a disco 1. These hurricanes are not for disco 2 or p38. By the way hurling abuse at some you dont know is not a jolly good show old bean!

they are fittment for p38 and disco 2 for disco 1 spacers are needed to fit, i have a set of four 18" hurricanes in my back garden that i took off my old p38 when i fitted 20" rims to it tyres are no good thou but the alloys are in top condition where abouts are ya as they would have to be collected due to size and weight?

here ya go heres a wee pic

Hi All, I went and saw the nice people at FAMOUS 4 who took the time to explain itall to me.

I do have an aftermarket Hurricane Sport Alloy that fit the bigger DISCO 1 / Defender stud spacing. I have normal wheel spacers fitted.

It looks like finding a replacement wheel to match my other 3 is going to be impossible.

So I have to go down the route of get 4 Hurricane Alloys as pictured above and then also purchase some stud conversion spacers. (ouch my pocket), but I donthave another choice.

Has anyone got anything good or bad to say about these size step down stud converters as my family are going to use the car on a daily basis?

Thanks

Tony
