Disco 1 200tdi drivers door stuck.

hi, probably posting this in the wrong place here but hoping someone might have the answer. I was about to change the spring in the drivers door latch when getting in to her in the fuel station the handle ripped and i was unable to open the door at all from inside or outside. I need to get her back on the road and wont be able to get an MOT if i cant open the door. has anyone got an idea of how i might be able to open the door. i have tried to take the door card off but seems near impossible when i can't open the door . i would appreciate any suggestions.:whoosh::whoosh:
