Hi All
Just had my local indy fit one to my 1996 4.6 HSE.
I would have done it myself but forgot I needed new hangers welded on the passenger side to accommodate the rear which had not existed on that side before now. So I decided to get it all done for me. They did a great job as always.
Brake lines were already re-rerouted last year ready to go for a twin pipe exhaust.
New centre section and twin rear silencers. Very reasonable price too compared to just putting on an OEM single pipe.
It sounds quite incredible. Such a low and deep burble but without being overbearingly loud.
I tried to record the sound on a phone and camera, but it really does it no justice at all.
I think I am going to cut out the rear bumper to match the driver's side, but its not fouling the new tailpipe. Just cut it for symmetrical cosmetics and to stop it potentially melting....... Its gets warm but not hot (yet).
I can recommend Direnza.
Cheers
