Diffs

OK I want this:

4.7 ratio 4 pin 10 spline center diff.

a, was there such a thing made?

I'm guessing not.

b, Can it be made using a 4 pin center and other parts?

Anyone know mabe?

Sorry mate, don't know. You might be lucky - the 3.54 24-spline diffs fit (I believe) in the same casing, but it's not something I've tried.

However - if you're looking for stronger halfshafts - have you considered fitting a whole Salisbury axle?

I have considered it. but the fronts are too expensive and i have already fitted a rear one. I need 10 spline internals any how to keep my stronger CV's mines a 90. Trying to reduce my ratios overall especially low range and 4.7 seems logical seems as im just about to get hold of a 110 salisbury with a 4.7 setup looking for the strongest front setup without going 24 spline and indeed ashcroft shafts route. I might even be able to get into 5th gear again when on the motorway Jai

A defender transfer box would help with that.

Have you tried looking in KAM diffs? I believe that they do various ratios.....bit spendy tho

I have changed to a disco transfer box pre large tyres. I want to lower my low ratio, changing the transferbox doesn't help me with that.
