i was think about putting a LSD in my td5 90 will this be sore on my transmission for every day road driving or should i put in the air locker diff ??

If you got the money go air actuated, then you can control when you want it locking is preferable to auto locker, also most auto lockers tend to have a shorter lifespan. Compressed or vacuum actuated is a personal choice and many arguments for either one.

thanks mate i was thinking the air locker was the better option , just wanted to hear other peoples thoughts on it

lsd takes a short time to take affect to, so ull probly have better luck in situations where u need it for short times in quick succession with an air locker, but if its just now and then ull b fine with a lsd

Does that come with the locker or do you have to purchase it separately?

How is the compressor powered? driven off the engine or electric?

Most come in a kit which includes the pump and all fittings and lines and controls (electric). Some people prefer to go for endless air setup to provide the air, which is basicly an old air-conditioner compressor, pumpin air as opposed to refrigerant, into a holding tank, this can also be used to supply compressed air to inflate tyres etc.
