Difference between bumpers

Hi everyone,
I am currently searching for a new front bumper for my 1995 p38. I found one but i also read that the later model (1999-2002) will not fit on my car. Is this true? if so how much work would be needed to make it fit? any help is appreciated.

Front or rear, petrol or diesel? Only difference I can see is the rear has different arrangements for the exhaust.

There is a difference regarding front bumper mounted fog lights, they can't be fitted to diesel automatic. Apart from that, i doubt there is a difference.

Fog lights are an option, they just replace the blanking panels and make no difference to the bumper. Early fronts do not have the lip spoiler but it can be fitted or removed.

I can confirm there is no difference on petrol models. Have upgraded my black plastic no fog lamps to a later colour-coded one with fogs. At the rear had to trim back around the exhaust tip a little but I have a non-standard box and tip anyway so that may be why.

I swapped the bumpers on our '97 and '99 a few weeks back and there is no difference.
