I'm hoping someone can either tell me, or point me towards a list of different diff ratios that were fitted to various green oval stuff.

The specific ones I'm after are 1987 110 V8 station wagon rear axle and disco 1 1998 V8 3.9efi rear axle.

I think you may guess I'm after putting the disco disc braked axle onto the 110 SW but dont want to wind anything up if it doesn't tally with the front:cool:

On a similar note, does anyone know what I need to do (if anything) with the ABS side of things when doing the swap?

Cheers in advance(and hope), Pete.

Forgot to add, the 110 is manual and disco auto, so not sure if that makes a difference?

however why?? you lose your salisbury axle which is far stronger and rear is 25% of braking (ish) so u wont gain much, yes discs are easier to clean and need no adjustment but your call..

cheers steve

Cheers for that Steve, and yeh, will be going away from the salisbury.

Reason being the old one needs work. The spring mounts need replacing and the brakes are worn out, corroded and seized.

I bought the disco for the engine to transplant into the 110, and it happens to have a refurbed axle on it, new discs etc and its in good order with no leaks, unlike mine.

Its not a certain as yet though, just seems a shame to weigh it in if it would be of use on the 110 without complications.

As far as the ABS goes then, it will be ok? Just a case of taking the censors out?

no idea on abs... sorry but a refurb on the salisbury can be done for peanuts and u could sell the disco axle on ebay for £100+ if its been refurbed

salisbury looks good from behind lol
