Hi there,
I'm wondering if anyone could help me. I have a 1989 90 County Station Wagon TD and it has developed a fault as follows.
For as long as i have had it (over 2 years) on lifting off the accelerator at 30-50mph it lets out a groaning/rumbling noise. I just put up with it as it seems to be one of the car's many endearing little quirks.
However now on a tight low speed turn more noticably a right turn there is a loud banging sound from underneath. The sounds appear to come from the front and under the cab area.
Is it likely to be a diff problem and would anyone know how much it would cost to fix. I have the vehicle off the road as i am concerned about causing any more damage.
Regards
Dave
