Hey guys, a the title suggests, I'm wondering what type of oil to use in the front and rear diffs? Also is there any particular type of auto transmission fluid to use with the 4.6 motor? It's a 1995 GEMS by the way.

Is the front diff lubricated separately from the auto transmission?

Cheers

Both diffs take approx 1.6L of EP90 & are seperate from the transmission. I get mine from Halfrauds just because it's nearest to me.
I think you need dextron II or III for the transmission.

EP90, just make sure that you can open the filler plug before you drain them.

Nope, Dexron III

Whilst you're doing your diffs grab the chance and grease your prop UJs.

In the manual and RAVE. Download RAVE if you haven't already. It is a saviour.

Smith & Allan (no affiliation) were good for the exact grades of oil when I got mine.
